Supporting EMS Personnel in Times of Need
The SC EMS Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to EMS professionals during times of hardship. Whether facing significant property loss, debilitating illness, or a loss of income due to unforeseen circumstances, the SC EMS Foundation is committed to supporting the EMS community during their most challenging times.
Eligibility Criteria:
The fund is open to those who have selflessly served in any EMS role, whether certified or non-certified, in South Carolina. We understand the dedication it takes to serve in EMS, and we are here to assist those who can demonstrate financial hardship resulting from an unexpected event, such as property damage, medical expenses, income loss, or funeral costs. The hardship must have occurred within the past 6 months, and documentation proving the event’s timing will be required.
The SC EMS Foundation does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation. All applicants will be considered equally, based on the eligibility criteria and merit of their situation.
Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed on a regular basis. To ensure we can process your request quickly, please provide all necessary documentation with your application..
Important Notice:
Financial assistance is based on fund availability and the severity of the hardship. Each application is thoroughly evaluated, and not all applicants may receive financial aid. Partial funding may be offered depending on the circumstances and resources available.
