SCEMSA is the only association to offer a dual membership with NAEMT. A NAEMT membership costs $40, but with SCEMSA, it’s included! Your NAEMT membership remains current as long as you are a SCEMSA member. |

For DPH Licensed Air Ambulance Services, membership dues are $500 per DPH permitted Aircraft for each parent company. This membership category is tailored specifically for air ambulance operators.
This membership is intended for non-profit organizations that support the aims and purposes of SCEMSA. These members do not have voting rights and are not eligible for dual NAEMT membership.
Membership is available to institutions credentialed by the South Carolina Department of Public Health to provide initial and ongoing training for current and aspiring certified emergency medical technicians.
Membership is designed for public and private entities licensed by the South Carolina Department of Public Health that operate permitted ground ambulances. The fee structure is $100 per permitted ambulance with a minimum of $500, up to a maximum of 30 units or $3,000.
Available to hospitals with 100 or more licensed beds. These members are not eligible for dual enrollment with NAEMT.
Available to hospitals with fewer than 100 licensed beds. These members are not eligible for dual enrollment with NAEMT.
Applicable to entities that employ emergency medical technicians to provide emergency care but do not operate permitted ambulances. These members are licensed by the South Carolina Department of Public Health.
Membership includes the four Regional EMS Councils in South Carolina (Low Country, Midlands, Pee Dee, Upstate) that are credentialed to provide EMS training and ongoing education for emergency medical technicians.
Designed for businesses engaged in the manufacture or sale of EMS-related products, delivery of EMS-related services, or those interested in the EMS field. This category is anticipating new levels of benefits soon.
Additional options are available for Ground Ambulance Members, Non-Transporting Members, Air Ambulance Members, EMS Education Institution Members, and Regional EMS Education Institution Members:
Adds $350 to annual dues, including dual membership in NAEMT for 10 members across all applicable membership levels, except for educational institutions, which are allowed five members for $175.
After adding the NAEMT Agency or Institution Designation, individual members or students may be added to the agency or institution membership at $40 each annually.
