Serve on the SC EMS Foundation Board of Directors
Application Deadline: July 15, 2025
The SC Emergency Medical Services Foundation is now accepting applications for its Board of Directors. Dedicated to advancing EMS and pre-hospital health care in South Carolina, the Foundation exists to promote and conduct research, apply scientific knowledge in EMS care; support educational and workforce initiatives for EMS professionals and foster innovation through the exchange of critical information. It also provides direct financial assistance to EMS professionals facing hardship through the EMS Cares Fund.
Board members serve a pivotal role in shaping programs that prepare future EMS leaders, enhance education and training standards, and foster new models of care that move the EMS profession forward.
As part of our commitment to growth and innovation, the Foundation is seeking two dedicated individuals to serve a voluntary two-year term on its Board of Directors. These appointments will replace two members who have transitioned out of their roles. New board members will help guide the foundation’s strategic direction, support its mission-driven initiatives, and contribute their expertise to the advancement of EMS in South Carolina.
“Serving on the EMS Foundation board is a rewarding way to give back to the profession and help shape its future,” said Jeffrey Carroll, MS, NRP, current Chair of the SC EMS Foundation Board.
