    I am the Program Director for the EMT Academy at Spartanburg Community College. This is the accelerated 7.5-week format to assist local agencies with workforce issues, specifically through an apprenticeship agreement with Spartanburg EMS. I have been a two term SCEMSA Board Member and am interested in sharing my experiences with other accelerated programs around the state to create a better prepared EMT to enter the workforce after such a short span of time.
