The South Carolina EMS Association is accepting presentation proposals for the 2026 Her Impact: Women in Healthcare Summit, scheduled for October 28, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina. More details will be announced soon.

Her Impact: Women in Healthcare Summit is a healthcare leadership and professional development event created to empower, educate and connect women across healthcare through leadership, communication, mentorship and collaboration.

Presentation Topic Ideas

Speakers are encouraged to submit presentations that align with the summit’s focus on leadership, confidence, communication, mentorship and professional growth. Topic ideas may include, but are not limited to:

• The Power of Emotion: Emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy, self-awareness, managing difficult conversations and understanding how emotions influence leadership, teamwork and patient care.
• Women Who Lead: Leadership growth, executive presence, decision-making, career advancement, leading through change and lessons learned from women serving in leadership roles.
• Balancing Leadership & Life: Burnout prevention, boundaries, stress management, personal wellness, work-life integration and sustaining a meaningful career in healthcare.
• Collaboration Over Competition: Building strong teams, creating supportive workplace cultures, peer support, mentorship, networking and strengthening relationships across healthcare disciplines.
• Communicating with Confidence: Public speaking, advocacy, professional communication, conflict resolution, difficult conversations, storytelling and using your voice effectively in the workplace.
• Mentoring the Next Generation: Coaching emerging professionals, developing future leaders, creating mentorship pathways, supporting students and helping women grow within healthcare careers.
