Key Changes for 2025

This year’s symposium introduces several key changes that are important to note:

  • Conference Brochure: Download the brochure for all session details and speaker bios. 
  • EMS Competition: The EMS competition will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, as part of the pre-conference events. Don’t miss this exciting showcase of top EMS talent.  
  • EMS Night Out: We’re hosting an EMS Night Out events this year! This event is FREE, but space is limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.
  • EMS Adventure Challenge Game: Participate in our interactive mobile app game to engage with exhibitors and colleagues while competing for prizes.
  • Changes to the Awards: There have been changes to the types of awards that will be given. Click here to learn more. 

Register by February 1, 2025 and save $50! After this date, registration prices will increase for both members and non-members.

Important Registration Information

Please review the following details before registering:

  • Online Registration: Register through the SCEMSA website, with payment options available via credit card or by mailing payment.
  • Member Discounts: SCEMSA members can access discounted rates by logging into the registration portal.
  • Workshops: Workshops require pre-registration, and include additional fees.
  • Payment Deadline: Payments must be received by February 28, 2025, to confirm your spot.

Schedule At - A - Glance

Wednesday, March 5 – Pre-Conference Day

  • 9:00 am - 1:00 pm: SCEMSA Educators Pre-Con
  • 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm: EMS Competition showcasing the skills and expertise of EMS professionals.

Thursday, March 6

  • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Opening Ceremony and a full day of educational sessions.
  • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Evening Exhibitor Reception where you can network and engage with vendors.
  • 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm; EMS Night Out: Join us for a memorable evening filled with networking and fun. 

Friday, March 7

  • Full day of sessions leading to the conference closing.
  • 5:00 pm: Awards Reception to honor EMS excellence, including the newly updated award categories.

Mobile App

Our on-site mobile app will provide updates and help you navigate the event. Stay tuned for more details about how to download and use the app for a seamless symposium experience.

Continuing Education (CE) Credit

South Carolina EMS personnel attending the symposium will receive continuing education credits provided by the SC EMS Division of DPH.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be received by February 1, 2025, to receive a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee). No refunds will be issued after this date.

    Terms and Conditions

    By registering for the SCEMSA 2025 Symposium, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Registration and Payment: All registrations must be completed and paid by the deadlines specified. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Any on-site registration must be paid in full at the time of registration.
    2. Code of Conduct: Attendees are expected to maintain professional behavior during all conference events. SCEMSA reserves the right to remove individuals whose conduct is deemed inappropriate.
    3. Liability: SCEMSA is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the conference. Attendees participate at their own risk.
    4. Event Changes: SCEMSA reserves the right to modify the event schedule, location, or speakers without prior notice. Attendees will be informed of any significant changes.
    5. Photo and Media Release: By attending the event, you consent to being photographed and recorded. SCEMSA reserves the right to use any images or recordings taken during the conference for promotional purposes in print, online, and on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify event staff in writing prior to the event.
