2021 SC EMS Memorial Bike Ride

The South Carolina EMS Memorial Bike Ride is a charitable organization which honors EMS providers who have lost their lives while providing care to others or after a significant career in EMS.

Our ride began in 2010 when we honored eight EMS providers which included the three lost in the September 2009 Omniflight crash that year.

This year, our participants will start with a pre-ride dinner on Thursday, May 20. The first day of the bike ride is May 21 (Metric Century), second day (Century) of the bike ride is May 22, and third day is May 23 and the date of the Memorial.  

We ride to honor EMS professionals and bring awareness to the dangers that EMS faces every day in serving the citizens of South Carolina.
