The South Carolina EMS Association (SCEMSA) invites EMS professionals, educators, researchers, and industry leaders to submit presentation proposals for the upcoming SCEMSA Leadership Conference. This event serves as a unique opportunity to share insights, showcase best practices, and contribute to the ongoing development of EMS leadership and innovation. Presenters will have the chance to inspire a diverse audience of EMS directors, field providers, educators, and stakeholders, creating a lasting impact on the future of emergency medical services in South Carolina and beyond. |

Conference Overview
The SCEMSA Leadership Conference is a premier event dedicated to advancing the skills and knowledge of EMS leaders across South Carolina. The conference offers a platform for sharing innovative practices, leadership strategies, and the latest developments in emergency medical services.
Presentation Topics
We seek presentations that align with SCEMSA’s mission to promote and support the highest quality of emergency medical services. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership Development: Innovative leadership strategies, team building, and mentorship in EMS.
- Operational Excellence: Best practices in EMS operations, resource management, and service delivery.
- Community Engagement: Effective public education, outreach programs, and community partnerships.
- Health and Wellness: Initiatives promoting the well-being and resilience of EMS professionals.
Proposal Requirements
- Presentation title, description, and objectives
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Short bio (100 word maximum)
- Publicity photo (jpg, 300 dpi)
Submission Guidelines
All proposals must be submitted online via the button below. Presentations and topics should be specifically relevant to EMS leaders and directors. Submissions that do not meet this criterion or are incomplete will not be considered. Notifications will be sent once the review process is finalized.
Speaker Categories
- National Speakers: Travel from locations more than 350 miles from the conference venue and deliver three to four lectures during the event.
- Regional Speakers: Based in South Carolina and present one to two sessions.
Submission Process
- Complete the online submission form available on the SCEMSA website.
- Ensure all required fields are filled accurately.
- Submit proposals by 11:59 PM EST on March 15, 2025.
