Call for Nominations: SCEMSA Board of Directors

Nomination Period: January 12–23, 2026

Nominations for the SCEMSA Board of Directors are being accepted January 12, 2026 through January 23, 2026. This is an opportunity to help shape SCEMSA’s leadership by nominating yourself or a colleague for one of the available seats.
Per SCEMSA Bylaws, the nomination period is open for 7 to 14 calendar days. Each board position is a two-year term beginning July 1.

Open Seats for 2026:

    • President-Elect
    • Small 911 Ground Provider
    • Large Private Ground Provider
    • Licensed Emergency Medical Physician
    • Pee Dee/Lowcountry At-Large Representative - based on your primary residential address
Eligibility Requirements:

Nominees must:

    • Be a SCEMSA member in good standing for at least one year immediately preceding election
    • Active participation in SCEMSA committees or workgroups within the past year immediately preceding election. This could be participation or attendance for various committees or a workgroup. (Members don’t have to be a standing member of the committee to participate.)
    • Meet the criteria for the respective board seat.

How to Submit a Nomination:

To nominate yourself or someone else, submit the following information via the nomination form link below.

Information required:
    • Name & Email
    • Service represented (if applicable)
    • The SCEMSA board seat position being applied for
    • Biography/Statement including why you or the nominee would be a strong candidate for the position
    • Description of participation in SCEMSA committees or a workgroup over the past year
    • Confirmation of employer support of the nominee's required time and commitment to SCEMSA if elected.
    • A photo of the nominee

Nominations will be accepted from January 12–23, 2026.

Submitted information will be shared with SCEMSA members during the online voting process to help them select the best candidate for each position.

Elections will take place electronically in February 2026, with the results announced during the SCEMSA Annual Meeting at the SCEMSA Symposium in March.

Voting Update:

Don't Forget: This is the first election when all active members are allowed to cast one vote for each board of director position. This includes eligible individuals, organizations, and full-time employees on your roster, if we have them in our database. For questions or to submit a roster by January 31, contact membership@scemsa.org.
